Local Beaches Re-Opened
/Mijas, along with the entire province of Málaga, entered Phase 2 of the COVID-19 de-escalation plan as of the first of June. With that, local beaches have now re-opened. In order to maintain health safety, Phase 2 includes capacity controls, cleaning and disinfecting regimens, and measures to ensure social distancing.
Arrivals to Spain from outside the country will be possible from the first of July. At this point, the expectation is that there will not be any quarantine restrictions for visitors.
For those counting the days, hours, and minutes until they can return, make your plans now. For a stay in the village, we recommend Apartamento Vista de Pájaro, with its modern, well furnished accommodations, incomparable views, convenient location, and wonderful pool.
