Just Another Perfect Day in Paradise
/Our time in Mijas is full of simple pleasures. This past week, that involved waking up to another picture perfect day, some light gardening, and then a round trip 25km (18 mile) walk from just west of the village to the eastern edge and border with neighboring Benalmadena. The midway or turnaround point reaches nearly 1,000 meters, and features panoramic views that take your breath away (see Our Favorite Walk). While the walk may sound like a bit much, it was broken up with stops to visit with new friends and great conversation, and a leisurely lunch on the way back.
With views of mountains to the north, rolling hills leading to the Mediterranean coast to the south, whitewashed villas dotting the landscape, how can you go wrong?
